At Mind the Movement we know how difficult it is leading an organization or a team during this unprecedented time in our nation. With that in mind, we’re hosting a live workshop for organizational leaders to complete crisis mental health training in collaboration with the National Council on Mental Wellbeing.

Mental Health First Aid gives you the skills to recognize when someone is facing mental health or substance use challenges — and the confidence to be their first source of support.

Your learning outcomes include:

1) Determining a course of action for a non-crisis mental health situation
2) Determining a course of action for a crisis mental health situation
3) Understanding how to create a Mental Health First Aid action plan
4) Reducing the stigma of mental health in the workplace
5) Best practices for self-care, self-help and resilience practices

This will be a live interactive workshop hosted on Zoom on May 7th from 12-4:30PM eastern.

Attendees will first complete a 2 hr self-paced training INTRO to Mental Health First Aid at Work course.  At the end of the 6 cumulative hours of learning, you’ll receive certification in Mental Health First Aid from the National Council on Mental Wellbeing.
