Partner with Mind the Movement
“To change everything, we need everybody” and we’d love to have you as a partner of Mind the Movement.
Mind the Movement is a brand new nonpartisan initiative to support movement and democracy workers mental health and you’re invited to be one of our organizational partners.
Mind the Movement subsidizes therapy for out of work campaign staff; fired federal workers; and underemployed/uninsured community organizers. We also provide free crisis training for organizational leaders and virtual support options for workers outside our pilot states.
We’d welcome any and all support from you as a validator of our work and the need for mental health support for the workers we serve.
Here’s how you can support us as a validator:
1. Amplify Mind the Movement’s offerings on social media, in targeted emails and in conversation with your community members. Here’s a really cool example from our friend @Kate_forthePeople.
2. Share Mind the Movement when you hear about individuals in this space who are struggling with mental health issues. (Please direct people to emergency services if you feel they’re in crisis).
3. Amplify the need for mental health support for community organizers and fired federal workers when they’re in the news.
4. Talk about the need for mental health support for campaign staff in the lead-up to and after Election Day.
5. Host a virtual or in-person fundraiser for us. We’re happy to set up a fundraising page for you or attend as a speaker if possible.
6. Utilize our shareable resources that you can use right here.
Email us at hello@mindthemovement.org to collab or with questions.
Want to make it official?
As an official partner of Mind the Movement you’ll have the option for your logo to be included on public facing materials, including our website, funder pitch deck and on social media or and public announcements as agreed upon by both organizations.
